However, the actual impact of this technological innovation and revolution on written hard copy materials is yet to be recognized. Does digital media of the future means a threat or an opportunity to world learning and hard copy books? How copyrights the intellectual property rights as dearly kept principles are to be followed in a digital world? How the contemporary book industries will transform in the digital world and what role they will play?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All these questions and challenges emanated by the digital divide of tomorrow dictates that we revisit the boundaries and limitations of the relevant legal provisions of governing our printed materials today and either ascertain their relevance or to modify them to fit the future needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The International Conference on \u201cchallenges facing book industries in the globalizing world\u201d is all about these topics and the resultant brain storming and
