FORUM GLOBAL 2016 &#8211; GUIYANG, CHINA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In an effort to crystallize and better carry out the agreements and decisions reached in the SDG Summit in New York in September, COP21 in Paris in December and China\u2019s Thirteenth Five-Year Plan, the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference 2016 with a focus on \u201cgreen development\u201d and \u201cactions\u201d took place in Guiyang from July 7-10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nobel Prize laureates, heads of international organizations as well as presidents of&nbsp;prestigious worldwide&nbsp;universities&nbsp;wereamong the&nbsp;academic-filled&nbsp;attendance&nbsp;list and of the 1,000 experts over 400&nbsp;were from overseas.The forum this year&nbsp;showcased&nbsp;China&#8217;s&nbsp;specific practices on ecological civilization construction, and set up a platform for dialogues and strategic cooperation between&nbsp;China&nbsp;and the rest of the world.&nbsp;China&#8217;s&nbsp;role as an advocator and practitioner in tackling climate change&nbsp;was also&nbsp;highlighted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with diverse topics focusing on sustainable development, an \u201cE20 (Eco-20) Summit\u201d as an outreach group of G20 was\u00a0held during the conference and the outcome of the E20 Summit will be presented to G20 2016\u00a0in September. \u00a02016 will be a year of action for EFG Annual Conference as it will be a scenario to explore how to practice the ideas and plans initiated in the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped
